Protein balls made with coconut. 4 different flavoured Protein balls. Easy to make milk powder recipe

Protein Balls

Regular snacking helps to regulate blood sugar, keep energy levels high and maintain a healthy metabolism. Snacking on whole foods like seeds, nuts, fruits and low-fat dairy is a good way to ensure you stay healthy!

These easy-to-make, nutritious protein balls are good to have on hand. They are filling and contains little to no preservatives and artificial ingredients, that many highly-processed store-bought snacks have in them.

Simply mix four different coatings to create different flavours and textures!

Here is another great recipe tip to customise to your own taste buds.

Pick your favourite nuts, seeds and whole grains to create different colours and flavours.

Tips!

  1. Choose which flavours you wish to make. Remember to use 20 pitted dates and 1/4 cup skim milk powder per flavour.

  2. Soak the dates for 30 minutes in a big bowl and drain when ready.

  3. While waiting for the dates, prepare the ingredients of your chosen flavours.

  4. In separate bowls per flavour chosen, mix the required dates, milk powder and flavouring ingredients, either with a hand mixer or a spoon.

  5. Roll golf ball-sized portions into little balls in your hands. Coat by rolling to the corresponding reserved ingredient per flavour.

  6. Pack the Protein Balls in small airtight containers.

  7. Refrigerate for 20 minutes or longer for better results. Try freezing them as well.

  8. The protein balls are ready when they are firm and chewy.
